10 SEO Online courses & things you need to do for Optimising your website.
SEO Training
Search Engine Optimisation is typically known as SEO.
To learn SEO Online courses & things you need to do for Optimising your website. is powerful as it is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or web page in a search engine’s unpaid results – often referred to as ‘natural’, ‘organic’, or ‘earned’ results.
Why is learning SEO important?
There are over a billion websites. Search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo) must find a way to bring up the most relevant answer for a user. The better the Search Engine is at sorting and providing the best answer, the more likely that a user will return to use the same search engine again and again.
Google is the search engine I typically turn to as the market leader, as they have a staggering 75% market share worldwide. The formula that Google uses to sort out who gets the priority in the search results is called an algorithm. Google doesn’t share the algorithm, as if everyone knew it, there would be no way to rank the results.
Google does however share aspects of the algorithm to help web developers and other interested parties make their sites more easily found. Basically Google rewards those who take initiative and regularly update their sites.
SEO is often seen as something quite technical and only to be done by experts. Whilst there are many layers of SEO from basic to quite advanced, it is absolutely possible for everyone in business to learn the basics. When they do commit to this, quite frankly the results are amazing.
Tonight I was reminded of this when a client contacted me to say she had 11 sales today. Six weeks ago prior to doing a workshop with me her sales were 1 – 2 a month. Before the workshop she had no idea about SEO or any experience as a web developer. To say she is excited is an understatement.
My passion is teaching business owners and key team members (such as Marketing Managers) how to do it themselves. This passion started when I was seeing small businesses who were being taken advantage of by people claiming to be experts. I thought, if only they knew how to use SEO then they wouldn’t be taken advantage of.
You may wonder why on earth as a business owner (with so many other things you need to know as a typical jack of all trades, that is, knowing a bit about everything) you would need to know SEO too.
